Regent CC after being put to bat first at Dadkar Maidan were all out for 48 runs in 29.3 overs. The bowler who inflicted maximum damage and proved to be too difficult to handle was off spinner Sushilkumar Kamble who came up with envious bowling figures of 6/3 in 7 overs. The entire top to middle order was eroded by this man as he bamboozled the batsman with his effective off spinners.
Maharashtra Young Cricketers in reply declared their innings at 72/5 in 15.1 overs winning the match on 1st innings lead. With this Kamble breaks the record of least number of runs conceeded by a bowler to reach a 5wkt haul in the history of Kanga League.
