It was a crucial quarter-finals encounter between Kandivali Cricket Association & Kansara C.C at the Sachin Tendulkar Gymkhana. Kandivali C.A won the toss & elected to bat first on a good batting track to post a big total for Kansara.

Their decision to bat first did reaped them dividends as Kandivali C.A managed to reach 176/6 in 20 overs. Dinesh Bohnu & Umang Shah were the leading scorers scoring 51 & 40 respectively. Yogesj Pujari also chipped in with 27 followed by a quickfire 25 of just 9 balls by Aakash Bharadwaj which included 3 sixes to push their team total to 176. The batsman did a commendable job & everyone contributed in their capacity.

Chasing 177, Kansara CC felt the pressure of chasing and succumbed to the pressure of quarter-finals as they were reduced to only 133/10. Kansara CC got all out for 133 & Kandivali C.A won the quarter-finals by 44 runs. Right-arm off spinner Aakash Bharadwaj was the pick of the bowlers with great bowling figures of 4/17 in 4 overs.

Akash continued his good form in the Quarters & lets expect him to steer his team to a title win too. Cricketgraoh congratulates Aakash & the whole team for their win and wishes them to continue playing good cricket.
