Played at the Worli Sports Club, it was the all important finals between two teams who have fought their way hard to reach the ultimate face off. MIG- a team full of young talents while Rizvi- a proven strong & powerful team who have been winning this title since the last 3years clashed against each other for the finals. MIG won the toss and elected to bat first in order to put the opposition under pressure.
Batting first, MIG scored 175/10 in 96.4 overs where in middle order bat Akash Singh scored 32 while Shavraj Durve once again gave a useful contribution down the order with his unbeaten 38. Right arm fast bowler Abhishek Jaiswar bowled an excellent spell of fast bowling as he came up with match winning bowling figures of 5/38 in 20overs.
However, MIG boys gave a fitting reply with the ball as they restricted the strong Rizvi batting line up to just 100 runs in 44.1 overs. Apart from opener Awais Khan, not a single batsman crossed the 20run mark. Slow left arm spinner Aryan Dalal keeps on proving his worth with the ball as he took 4/30 in 15 overs while Jay Dhatrak chipped in with 3/25 in 10.1 overs.
