The ongoing Harris Shield has been an excellent platform for youngsters since many years to display their talent. This is the platform which gives opportunities to talented prodigies to play at their fullest. Pratham More is one such kid who has showed a lot of promise for his age and looks set to progress leaps and bounds in cricket. The left-arm orthodox spinner is also a proper all-rounder and is a must have for any team. Quite evident from his current form where he took 6/10 in 7overs in the 1st match a few days ago followed by a stunning all-round show in the second.

Played between Yashodham High School and CNMS at cross maidan in Mumbai, CNMS won the toss and elected to bowl first as they thought the pitch might have something for the bowlers. However, Yashodham boys gave a terrific show with the bat as they scored 198/6 in 34 overs. All-rounder Pratham More who came in at no.3 scored a scintillating hundred smashing 107 off just 70balls. Young Pratham confidently took on the bowlers as he smashed 14fours and 2sixes to anchor his team to a good total. The rest of the batsman chipped in and gave him support.

Chasing 199 in 34 overs is always going to be a pressure situation where CNMS school were all out just 125runs. The star batsman of the match was also the star bowler as he took 4/39 in 9overs becoming the pick of the bowlers. Aryan and Sairaj More also bowled well taking 2wkts each. Also Jugraj’s bowling in the first match where he conceded only 20runs in 20overs for 2wkts was commendable. In fact Jugraj attained one of the best economies in the tournament with that spell. Cricketgraph congratulates the talented Pratham and this promising lot of bowlers as the entire team  looks promising enough to make their school proud!
