All-Rounder Sagar Mishra puts a strong statement with a 103 & 6/47 in the Purshottam Shield ‘18

Parkophene Cricketers  after electing to bat first at PJ Hindu Gymkhana  did felt some jitters with half of the team in the pavilion for 155 runs despite opener  Sandeep kunchikhor’s brilliant 93. It was at that time left-handed Sagar Mishra arrived at no.6 and went on to score a brilliant 103 off 114 balls. The all-rounder batted with the lower order smashing 4 fours and 5 sixes while toiling hard between the wickets to help his team reach a defendable total.

In reply, Victory CC were all out for 167 runs with Sagar who was the star attraction with the bat coming good with the ball too. Sagar took 6 wkts with his left arm spin for 47 runs as he almost single handedly led Parkophene Cricketrs to a big win by 143 runs. Pardeep Sahu also gave good support chipping in with 4 wkts.

Sagar has finished his cooling period after getting NOC from Railways and is now eligible to serve the Mumbai team too. The first class cricketer surely signaled his arrival in a grand fashion!
