Amulya Verekar(54*) and Sangam Gharat(46) steer Pro King Sports Academy to a win in the P.K.S.A Winter League T10 Tournament ‘18

Played at the Janta Raja Ground in Kharghar, it was a crucial clash off between Neo Cricket Club and Pro King Sports Academy Colt where in NCC won the toss and elected to bat first in order to make a big total and put the opposition under pressure.

Batting first Neo Cricket Club batted well smashing 115/8 in 10overs which is anyday a good score to defend.  Almost every batsman struggled to convert their starts where in opener Harsh was the top scorer with 20. The bowlers did a good job with Amulya, Uttam, Attar and Sangam taking 2wkts each.

Chasing 115, all-rounder Amulya Verekar who opened the innings anchored the chase with a match-winning 54* off just 28balls. Amulya literally took on the bowlers from the very 1st over smashing 6fours and 4sixes at a strike rate of almost 200. Sangam who came at no.3 fell just 4runs short of what could have been a deserving half century smashing a destructive 46 off mere20balls (6fours,3sixes). Both the boys also stitched a 104run stand in less than 50 deliveries which took the game away from Neo Cricket Club. Pro King Sports Academy won the match by 8wkts in a thumping fashion as Amulya and Sangam dominated the bowlers while chasing. Amulya and Sangam who took 2wkts each also took the onus of batting on their shoulders becoming the standout performers in the match.
