RDX clashed with Avenu Cricket Club where in ACC won the toss & elected to field first with an aim of restricting RDX to a low total at the Skyline Cricket Ground in Gurgaon.
However, it hardly mattered to RDX as they put up a mammoth 207/6 in 20 overs. The batting was really good where in the batsman really did a good job. Opener Anuj Rasganiya scored a terrific 39ball 70 (11fours, 2sixes) at a strike rate of 179.5 making a complete mayhem of the opposition. Manish Arey at no.5 was the 2nd highest scorer with an aggressive 49* off just 28balls which included 4fours & 4 sixes. The rest of the batsman also contributed in 20’s and 30’s which made all the difference. The bowling could have been better with Deepak Maurya being the pick of the bowlers with 2/37 in 4 overs.
Chasing a target of above 200 is always difficult and Avenu Cricket Club was no exception as they felt the pressure of chasing getting all out for just 80runs in 15.3 overs. Sourav Kataria and Kunwar Raj were the pick of the bowlers with 3/21 & 2/20 in their 4 overs respectively. RDX won the match by 127 runs and Anuj Rasganiya was declared ‘man of the match’. Cricketgraph congratulates Anuj and team while wishes luck to both the teams for their upcoming matches.
