Arman Pathan- A young all-rounder pathan in the making…..

0

There are players and then there are all-rounders, the importance and the position which a all-rounder holds in the side is completely different than a proper batsman or a full-time bowler. They are like the oxygen cylinder while climbing the Himalayan mountains which is very important to have. While South Africa had Jacques Kallis, Australia had Symonds & Waugh, Pakistan had Akram, Afridi and Razzaq, New Zealand had Chris cairns…but after Kapil dev, we hardly had any name to say like these countries had. So when you see some young boys in India who are really doing a good job both with the bat as well as with the ball, the hopes start to get alive & such talents should be rightly nurtured and promoted.

As the name goes, he is young, he still 14years old and he is a pathan…Not Yusuf not Irfan but surely one rising pathan in the making. Arman Pathan is a right handed batsman who can also bowl effective right arm fast becoming a vital cog in the team. Moreover, he comes to bat at a time when his team really needs him to fire and most of the times Arman has not let his team mates down while he also chips in with the ball whenever required.  In fact, if his stats are anything to go by, he appears to be a promising all-rounder in the Mumbai Cricketing circles. When he bats, he has the quality of a controlled aggression and his recent perfomance in the MCA U/14 Inter Summer Vacation Tournament was quite a proof of it. One of his hundreds he scored in the tournament was nothing short of temperament and patience.

Studying in 8th standard, Arman was earlier in Anjuman Allana English High school (CST) while he is now changing his school to Al-barkat Mohamad Malik English High School, Kurla. His father Ismail Mohamad Hussain Pathan is a head clerk in a reputed school while his mother is a doting housewife. Arman has also trained under various coaches right from Manish & Rumde Sir from United CC, Kiran Ashar, Imran Shaik & Sayyad Alamdar sir from Sunder CC to Iqbal thakur & Zarar Khan sir from Anjuman Islam. He is thankful towards all his coaches for his cricketing journey so far but he is by far the closest and most thankful towards AR Kamat, Ajit Rodricks, Surendra Mane, Akhilesh Yadav & Ravi Kulkarni sir from Dilip Vengsarkar Academy.

From what we at Cricketgraph can see, Arman’s journey has been humble & fruitful so far and he certainly looks poised enough to climb the ranks in cricket. We certainly wish him all the luck for a great future in cricket ahead.
