Two strong teams in Sanjeevani & Rizvi Sports Club clashed each other for the finals of the Future Star Tournament at the Karnataka Cricket Ground, Mumbai. Both the teams had played well in the tournament so far to reach the final stage of the tournament. Rizvi won the toss & elected to bat first to put Sanjeevani under pressure from the word ‘Go’.

However, it was some wonderful bowling by the Sanjeevani bowlers which restricted team Rizvi to just 174/10 in 39.4 overs. Not a single batsman fired for Rizvi apart from their top 3 Abhinav, Owais & Musheer Khan scoring 47, 38 & 30 respectively. Right-arm leg spinner Aryan Desai was the primary destroyer taking 4/44 in 8 overs including the crucial wicket of their Rizvi Captain. Aryan took important wickets which helped them restrict Rizvi to a low total. Shubham Karat was also supportive in his bowling spell of 3/25 in 8 overs.

Chasing 175 is not the toughest task & especially when you have a strong batting line up including Suryansh Shedge. Sanjeevani chased the score in utmost comfort as they won the match by 9 wkts. Right-handed opener Suryansh Shedge who is now accustomed to getting featured again and again due to his brilliant performances once again came up with a scintillating 94* off just 89 balls(7 fours) to steer his team to a commendable win. Jash Ganiga at no.3 also remained unbeaten on 41* before they won the match by a big margin of 9 wkts.
