Played at the Karantaka Sporting Association, Cross Maidan in Mumbai, two experienced sides namely Parkophene Cricketers and Karanatak SA took on each other where in Karnatak SA won the toss and elected to bat first. Karnatak is amongst the rare teams this season to won the toss and bat first.

However, things did not go exactly the way Karnatak boys may have planned for as they had to declare their innings at 144/9 in 50.2 overs. Aggressive opener Rudra Dhanday top scored with a 51ball 40 while the rest of the batsman failed to create much of an impact. The bowlers who bowled in tandem and did the maximum damage from Parkophene were Left arm medium pacer Atif Attarwala and spinner Sufiyan Rehemani as both of them took 4wkts each. While Atif bowled in the right areas scalping an impressive 4/26 in 13overs with 4 maidens , Sufiyan troubled the batsman with his spin as he took 4/32 in his 14.4 overs which included 5 maidens.

In reply, Parkpphene Cricketers scored 84/6 in 31 overs where in Tanmay Mishra top scored with 36* before the end of the day’s play and the match was ended in a draw. Vignesh Solanki bowled well taking 3/14 but it was Atif & Sufiyan’s bowling which became the highlight perfomance of the match.
