Ayush Jethwa seems to be enjoying his purple patch as he muscled yet another wonderful knock on 25th March during the Vijay Tulphule Trophy match at Matunga Gymkhana, Mumbai. Ayush scored a gritty 88 off 94 balls and peppered the boundary rope 10 times.  This talented batsman is just 12 years old and has already played some wonderful knocks during the Giles Shield and CPCC, a tournament organized by Mumbai Cricket Association. Jethwa, who was representing Payyade Sports Club, had recently won the prestigious U-14 Best Batsman award for his splendid performance in CPCC tournament. To add one more feather to his cap, Ayush won the Best Batsman prize in Vijay Tulphule Trophy tournament. Former India player Dilip Vengsarkar graced the function. The crowd gave a standing ovation to this child prodigy.

Ayush Jethwa has already carved a name for himself in the U-14 circuit. Let’s hope that this young and budding talent goes many a miles to make Mumbai proud.
