Played at the Sainath Sports Club in Mumbai, it was the all important semi finals between two promising teams namely CPCC and Payyade SC where in CPCC won the toss and elected to bat first with an aim of making a big total and putting the opposition under pressure.

CPCC were unaware on the storm which was about to wreck them as they were bundled out for just 81runs in 28.2 overs. All-rounder Ayush jethwa was the pick of the bowlers once again impressing one and all with his off-spin taking 6/5 in 8overs which included 4 maidens. Those stunning bowling figures just prove how he is growing day by day as an out and out proper all-rounder. Vedant Gadia also chipped in with 2wkts with his left arm spin.

In reply, the strong batting line up of Payyade SC scored 309/9 and batted for 90overs before the end of the game’s play where they won the match on 1st innings lead. Opener Vedant continued his good form from the last match as he scored 50 along with his opening partner Malhar chipping in with 35. However, it was Ayush Jethwa at no.3 who once again smashed a rock solid ton scoring 119 off 170balls (15fours) at a healthy strike rate of 70. Left-handed Ayush is looking all set for bigger things in cricket and he is definately amongst the very few players this year in Mumbai who has scored a century as well as taken a 5wkt haul in the same match. Payyade SC win the semi-finals and it was Ayush’s rock solid batting and confusing spin which remained the highlight perfomance of the day! Cricketgraph congratulates Ayush and the whole team while also wishes them luck for the finals.
