One of the most celebrated & exciting tournaments conducted by MCC is about to kickstart from 2nd of May 2017 & ends on 20th of May.

Entertainment, good individual perfomances, exciting matches & appreciation for your perfomance are some of the pointers which are always covered in the Mitsui Shoji T20 League.

The defending champions Ghatkopar Jets, Bandra Heroes, Mumbai Police, Cityriders,  Shivaji Park Warriors and Thane Marathas will play for the glittering trophy and a cash prize of Rs 2 lakhs is offered in the seventh edition of the Mitsui Shoji T-20 Cricket League. Presented by Morgen and Steven  organised by MCC- Jwala sports foundation.  The league gets underway at Police Gymkhana, Marine Lines from Monday, May 2. To add glitter to the already celebrated tournament like Mitsui, some of the current and past international cricketers, most of the Top Ranji and top junior and top division players will be part of this league. In past years international players like legendary Sri lankan bowler Chaminda vaas, Jehan Mubarak have been part of this league and some of the international cricketers are expected to participate this year as well. What’s more Bandra boy, Domestic cricket’s Sachin tendulkar & one of the most elegant test batsman- Wasim Jaffer will be representing the team Bandra Heroes this year.

The selection trails got completed on 27th of April & 5teams will fight & give their best for the prestigious trophy.

The 5-team league is to be played on double leg basis and the team finishing on the bottom of the table will be eliminated.  This has been made possible because of Mr. Lal Bharwany, CEO, Mitsui Shoji, who continued to be the main sponsor of the Tournament. He has been supporting this event to promote the players those are playing at grassroots level and we are committed to continue the same for upcoming years.  Mr. Jwala Singh, the chief organizer and Director of Jwala Sports Foundation is also the one person who should be thanked for this wonderful initiative.

Apart from Mitsui ShojI, Morgan and Steven, Fashion brand Enrobe, PG Jewellers, outdoor partner Global Advertisers and Brain4Sports is sponsoring this event. Ground support has been given by Mumbai police gymkhana.

Cricketgraph wishes this tournament as always turns out to be a great success & we are eagerly waiting for the tournament to kickstart from 2nd of May.
