Chinaman Aditya Balivada and Jash Ganiga star for Karnatak Sporting Association in the Worli Cup ‘17

Aditya Balivada and Jash Ganiga started with the ball and bat respectively for KSA in the first round match against KRP XI in the Late Ajit Memorial MCA under 14 selection tournament played at KSA Ground at Cross Maidan.

KRP XI won the toss and elected to bat. The openers put on just 14 runs in the first 10 overs before 11 year old Aditya struck the first blow. Opener Asif Khan batted with a lot of resolute and scored 46 runs of 165 deliveries before Aditya returned in his second spell to dismiss Asif with a sharp googly to catch the batsman plumb. Aditya finished with 4 wickets in 15 overs and conceded 32 runs. KRP XI finished their innings scoring 126 runs in 75.2 overs. Jugraj Mehta and Garv Jain picked 2 wickets each.

KSA began their innings losing both the openers quite early. It was left to the ever dependable Jash Ganiga to anchor the chase. Jash batted with grit and determination picking the gaps with ease and remaining unbeaten on 59*. Ganiga was supported ably by Manan Bhatt who scored 28 runs. Bowlers Yash Pandey and Tanush Hirlekar finished with 3 wickets each.

KRP XI concedes the match as KSA took the first innings lead while Jash once again impressed one and all with his ongoing form with the bat while Aditya looked impressive with the ball.
