Only the best cricket teams lock horns in the finals and this was set to be one epic battle between two professional outfits. It was the grand finale of Milan Corporate Cup between Reliance Ltd and Total Securities at Cross Madian on 28th March 2015. Total Securities won the toss and without hesitation decided to bat first. It is usually seen that teams with a strong batting side prefer to bat first in such finals. And it seemed like a wise decision.

Total securities opening batsmen Deven Joshi and Jayesh Thakkar  looked in complete command of their innings, respecting good balls and severely punishing loose deliveries. Total securities lost their first wicket at 61, wherein Jayesh was caught and bowled by Chetan Suvarana. Deven Joshi continued with this aggressive batting on the other end hitting fours and sixes at regular intervals. At one stage Total securities were poised for a bigger target however Reliance restricted it to 172. Deven Joshi looked in tremendous form scoring 93 off only in 47 balls. He hit 11 fours and 4 sixes.

Reliance batting side never seemed in control and this could have been because of the big target and pressure of chasing such big targets always gets to the nerves of any batting line up. Reliance kept loosing wickets at a regular intervals with most of the batsmen failing to reach double digits. Opener bowler Jay Sachdev bowled an immaculate line and length to pick up 4 wickets in his 4 overs. In the end Reliance got out for 98 runs loosing by a huge margin of 74 runs. Anthony Nadar and Sanmesh Waghmare picked up 2 wickets each.
