Jay Jain-a young and a promising left-hander making his mark..

He is all but 14, he is a left-hander and mostly loves to bat at the top of the order. 14year old Jay Jain is just making the right noises at such a small age because of his effective & consistent batting at the top of the order which has helped his team win numerous matches. Left-handed Jay Jain loves to bat aggressively but at the same time he hardly indulges in any reckless shots which leads to throwing away of wickets. The best attribute about Jay’s batting is that he mixes composure with aggression which has helped him score a lot of runs at the local level while has also made people notice of his batting abilities at the same time.

Coming from a humble middle-class background, his father Sanjay Jain is a businessman while his mother Pallavi Jain dedicates her time in raising Jay & handling the house. Jay Jain studies in 9th standard in Singhania School where in he has respresented his school numerous times on various occasions where he has taken his school to some commendable wins.

Even looking at his latest perfomance in the  Laskaria Little Champs Tournament which was held in May 2017, he is standing right there with the likes of Suryansh Shedge and Vedprakash Jaiswal when consistency and form is to be judged & gauged. With 430 runs in 7matches which includes 4 not outs at an average of 143, Jay has certainly displayed a lot of promise at such a young age. In fact, we remember one of his hundreds in the tournament had come off just 58balls which speaks a lot about his talent with the bat.

Overall too, Jay has been improving consistently as he has continuously notched up 50’s and 100’s whenever his team has required. In fact, in this year itself Jay has amassed over 2000 runs at an average of 53 which speaks a lot about his conviction towards cricket.

Jay who has had a bright journey so far in cricket looks promising to make it big as and when he grows up & keeps working hard over his fitness.  He can surely be a successful cricketer in future if he maintains the same level of dedication & passion towards cricket. Jay credits his parents who have supported him a lot in his cricketing journey even after his failures while he also thanks his coaches for helping him on improving his technique and game.
