Jay Jain and Akash Singh’s batting prowess helps M.I.G defeat Payyade in the Lashkaria little camps league
When this is your 3rd hundred in the last one month, you got to be special & Jay Jain is just proving that point in the cricketing circles as he scores yet another hundred against Payyade in the Lashkaria Little Camps league. Played at the MIG Cricket ground, MIG team won the toss & elected to bat first since they have a strong batting line up to post a competitive score on the board.
Team MIG batting first managed to put a healthy total on the board as they scored 227 for the loss of just 3wkts in 30 overs. Coming in at no.4, Jay Jain once again showed his ability with the bat as he scored a superb 104 off just 58balls. Jay once again proved that he can single handedly help any team win the match when he is on song as he smashed 12 fours & 5 big sixes to enthrall his team mates & the spectators alike. Playing at a strike rate of almost 200, Jay dominated the bowlers with ease & scored a flawless century. Apart from his, Akash singh also scored a solid looking half-century as he scored a timeless 62 off just 50balls. Mohit Tanwar & Musheer Khan took a wicket each but Payyade could have bowled a little better to restrict them to under 200 in 30 overs.
Chasing 228, the opposition gave a tough fight but that just did not prove to be enough as they were all out for 175 runs and lost the chase by 53 runs. Aryan Dalal took 2wkts with his Left Arm Spinner followed by 2wkts for Sai.
