Two entertaining matches took place on 13th of May where Ghatkopar Jets faced Shivaji Warriors in the 1st clash while Thane Marathas took on Mumbai Police Cityriders at the police Gymkhana ground in Mumbai. In the first match, Ghatkopar jets won the toss & elected to field first in order to restrict the opposition to a low total.

However, Shivaji Park Warriors put their best foot forward and managed to score a very healthy & a respectable score of 183/6 in 15 overs, The bowlers could have done a better job but it Shivaji boys outplayed them with their strong batting even though they did fell the early jitters when their openers Eknath Kerkar & Parikshit were out for 0 & 1 respectively. Promising batsman Kalpesh Sawant made his presence felt as he scored a lightning quick 84 off mere 40balls which included 14fours & 3sixes. Kalpesh literally counter attacked the bowers & was hitting the ball perfectly. Dhrumil Matkar also gave a quick cameo for his 12ball 38 which included 4sixes. From the bowling side Dhiraj Solanki was the pick of the bowlers taking 3/23 but he lacked support from the other end. Chasing 184 in 15 overs is always tough & Ghatkpar Jets succumbed to the pressure of chasing as they managed to score only 132/5 in 15 overs. Sagar Mishra gave just 2runs & took 2wkts while Dhanraj also took 2wkts. Shivaji boys won the match comfortably & Kalpesh Sawant was declared ‘man of the match’

The 2nd match was more interesting than ever as both the openers of Mumbai police stitched a record breaking 210+ runs partnership in a T20 which took the game away from Thane Marathas.  Opener Jay Bista & Hardik Tamore scored 219runs together in mere 86 balls which included 14 sixes to enthrall the spectators and their team mates alike. It was a full on entertainment & a display of power hitting where they eventually made 282/2 in 18overs with Shivam Dubey & Rakesh prabhu remaining unbeaten on 38* & 26* respectively. Chasing 283, Thane Marathas were all-out for 101/10 in 14.2 overs with Prasad Patil taking 3wkts while Rakesh, Shivam & Niraj chipping in with 2wkts each.
