Kanga League A Div Updates: From some Stunning Fifers to Some Solid Half Centuries

Kanga League 2018 has been off to a wonderful start with so many players giving their best they can in whatever opportunities the rain drenched grounds of Mumbai can give. The last Sunday was an intenseful day with lots of promising performances coming out from A Division.

Here are the updates:

Prathamesh Dake

In the match between National CC and Karnatak SA at Cross Maidan, National CC batting first were bundled out for mere 63runs as medium pacer Prathamesh Dake took 5/13 in 12.4overs with 6maidens. In reply Karnatak SA scored 70/6dec as they won the match on 1st innings lead.

In the match between Parkophene Cricketers and Worli SC at Worli SC ground, Medium pacer Deepak Shetty wrecked havor coming up with a great spell of 7/30 in 18.3overs with 7maidens. Right handed Adeeb Usmani who came at no.3 made a solid 62* off 53balls in his comeback match after injury. Adeeb also stitched a match winning stand of 108runs with Prathamesh Belchheda who scored 54* off 60balls.

Siddhant Adhatrao

In the match between New Hind SC and Sind SC at Dadkar Maidan, New Hind SC declared their innings at 142/5 on the back of a very composed 66* off 115balls by Siddant Adhatrao. Siddhant looked rock solid smashing only one four and a six while Sind SC batted for 20overs scoring 28/4 before the match ended in a draw.

MIG CC who took on Dadar Union at the MIG Ground restricted them for just 103runs all out as Balkrushna Shirke bagged a fifer taking 5/35 in 11overs. Right handed Hardik Tamore who is a solid opener fought it out single handedly scoring 63 off 113balls (1four and 3sixes) at a time when the rest of the 9batsman did not convert their scores in double digits. MIG CC were 55/6 in 17overs before the match ended in a draw.

Muslim United took on CCI (Cricket Club of India) at their homeground where in they were bundled out for 64/10 as left arm spinner Hitesh Parmar took 5/28 in 9overs.  CCI were 66/6 as medium pacer Sachin Chadhary took all the 6wkts to his name. Sachin bowled an accurate spell coming up with envious bowling figures of 6/13 in 9overs and 4maidens. CCI batted for 17.4overs before the end of the game’s play resulting a draw.
