- MIG CC won the toss and elected to field first against the imposing DY Patil side in the ongoing Police Invitation shield. DY Patil scored 318 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 70 overs.
This was a fighting score for DY Patil however left handed batter Kevin had other plans in store. His bat flowed through smoothly connecting every ball elegantly and quickly sailed through to register a century. He scored brisk 142 runs off 131 balls which was laced with 13 fours and 2 mighty sixes.
Sarvesh Damale from DY Patil knock of 127 went in vain as MIG won the match by 5 wickets.
