Kimati Corporate Bowler of the week – Hitesh Parmar from Route Mobile Team
Kimati Sports, one of the leading manufacturers of leather cricket balls in India, in collaboration, with Cricketgraph, launched Corporate Bowler Award this February to recognize the bowling talent in the corporate sphere. The award will be bestowed on the best bowler of the week, based on the performance in the corporate cricket leagues. Beginning February 2017, the best bowler will be awarded with attractive prizes which include a certificate of appreciation and a Kimati leather cricket ball.
Hitesh Parmar of Route SMS bagged the Kimati Corporate Bowler of the Week Award for his bowling brilliance that was exhibited against Thane City Police at Dadoji Konddev Stadium, Thane on 2nd March 2017 in the B division final match of Thane Vaibhav Cricket Tournament. Parmar bowled a dream spell, scalping 7-19 in seven overs at an economy rate of just 2.72. The left arm spinner bowled good lines and lengths making it difficult for the batsmen to score freely off him. He was the wrecker-in-chief as he ran through the opposition’s batting line-up in no time.
The panel of judges had a tough decision to make as the other two contenders; Sagar Khatri of Kotak and Prabhat of Cleartrip, both accounting for four scalps, were fighting hard for the Kimati Corporate Bowler of the Week Award.
