Played at the Sunder CC, Cross maidan in Mumbai, it was a C Div match between two promising teams namely John Bright and Jolly Cricketers where in Jolly Cricketers won the toss and took the safe decision of bowling first.
Their decision to bowl first was spot on as John Bright were skittled out for just 48 runs in 17overs. 10 out of 11 batsmen failed to score in two digits and the major reason for that damage was this talented left-arm spinner Jash Lalan who cleaned up the entire batting line of John Bright. Jash came up with envious and magnificent bowling figures of 7/13 in 5 overs which created the maximum damage. Jash extracted the best from the wicket and confused the batsman with his wily spin not giving any room to the opposition batsman.
In reply John Bright Bowlers also bowled well but Jolly Cricketers did manage to take a lead of 52runs as they were all out for 100/10 in 33.4 overs. Omkar Ghule did the job for John Bright which Jash did for Jolly cricketers as he took 6/27 in 10.4 overs(5maidens) which was completely impressive. In the 2nd innings John Bright scored 84/6 in 30.2 overs before the end of the game’s play. Jash took another 2wkts in the 2nd innings taking his tally of wickets to 9. Jolly Cricketers won the match on 1st innings and it was definitely Jash’s 9wkts which remained the highlight perfomance of the match. Cricketgraph congratulates Jash while wishes both the teams luck for their future encounters.
