Slow left-arm spinners have become rare species in International cricket and especially for India. In fact many countries rarely have 1 or 2 left-arm spinners which are produced once in many years. Hence it goes without saying that being a promising left-arm spinner is certainly a special talent to hone & if you keep performing consistently, you are bound to become successful in cricket.

Tejas has been performing well since quite a time and one such example has been his recent matches in the IDBI Federal Cup where he remained not only very economical but also took wickets at the right time. In the league/quarters match against Mulund, Tejas was declared ‘man of the match’ for his match-winning bowling spell of 3/8 in 5 overs (1 maiden) which helped his team qualify for the semi-finals berth.  In the semi-final match vs Bhosale Cricket Academy too, Tejas gave his best as he only conceded 6 runs in 5 overs while taking 3maidens & taking 2wickets. However, his efforts went for a losing cause in the semis as Bhosle Cricket Academy won the match wherein Santosh Yadav was declared man of the match.

Though slow left-arm spinner Tejas could not take his team DVCA(Dilip Vengsarkar Cricket Academy) to the finals berth but his perfomance in the last two matches surely brought everyone’s attention as he bowled around 10 overs (in 2 matches total) conceding only 14runs while taking 5wkts & 4 maidens. Cricketgraph congratulates Tejas for performing nicely while wishes him luck for a promising year ahead.
