Middle order bat Arman Pathan stamps his class again with a brazen knock of 100* in the U-14 Late Ajit Naik Memorial Tournament 2017-18

 Played at the National CC. Cross Maidan, it was a match between two big teams namely Dilip Vengsarkar XI and National CC where in National CC won the toss and elected to bowl first as the wicket was good for supporting the bowlers.

Batting first, Dilip Vengsarkar Foundation made a fairly decent and a commendable total of 218/9 declare in 100.1 overs. Even though the team lost the top 4wkts quickly, it was right handed Arman Pathan at no.5 who once again showed his mettle with the bat. Arman displayed complete class, patience and maturity as he went on to face as many as 208balls to score his 100* which included 10 fours. It was his brazen yet sublime ton which helped his team cross the 200run mark. From the bowling side, Vedant Patil impressed one and all as he took a hat-trick to clean up the middle order. Vedant with 3/47 in 25overs and 4 maidens was the most impressive of the lot.

In reply, National CC were bundled out for just 69runs. National CC surprisingly faced 57.2 overs for their 69runs where in off-spinnner Khush Jain and slow left arm spinner Tirth Trivedi took 3/14 and 3/8 respectively. It was a collectively good team perfomance by the Vengsarkar Boys and Arman was the standout performer from the match.
