Played at the Police Gymkhana in Marine Lines, two experienced teams from A Div clashed against each other namely Mumbai Police Gymkhana and Sind Sports Club where in Sind SC won the toss and elected to field first.

Batting first, Mumbai P.G made a decent score of 204/10 in 50 overs which is above the average score of 160 to 170 in this season of Kanga. Opener Rajesh Tandel scored a timely knock of 62 off 92balls while Humayun Hirapure at no.4 scored a fighting 53 off 85balls. From Sind SC, it was their experienced all-rounder Aditya Dhumal who became the pick of the bowlers taking 5//69 in 18 overs. Aditya bowled well in the right areas and kept the batsman on hooks.

Sind SC batted strongly in reply as they scored an impressive 228/6 in 28overs. Playing at 7+ runs per over on wet and uneven pitch conditions is nothing but commendable. Right-handed Yash Nahar at no.4 took on the Mumbai P.G bowlers at will as he literally toyed with the bowlers scoring an impressive 87* off just 51balls. All eyes were on his entertaining knock as he smashed just 3fours but as many as 6sixes at a strike rate of 170.59. Sind SC had the upper hand in the match and they dominated in both the departments as they won the match on 1st innings while Yash’s batting & Aditya’s bowling remained the highlight perfomances of the match.
