Minesh Shah bowls a stunner of a spell bagging 4/3 helping CCI win in the Gannon Dunkerley T20 Tournament ‘18

Played at the PJ Hindu Gymkhana, Malabar Hill Club and CCI took on each other where in Malabar Hill Club won the toss and elected to bat first on a track which has been giving equal assistance to the bowlers as well as the batsman.

However, their decision to bat first seemed to have completely fallen flat as they were all out for just 68runs in 16.5 overs with only two batsmen managing to score in two figures. Minesh Shah turned out to be the pick of the bowlers coming up with one of the most impressive and economical spells of the tournament bagging 4wkts while conceding only 3runs in 2.5 overs with a maiden. Such bowling figures are rare in T20 and it was certainly a commendable perfomance by Minesh Shah.

Chasing 69, it was a mere formality for CCI as they chased down the score in 10.4overs and won the match comfortably by 5wkts with Sahil Purohit top scoring with 28runs. It was a clean win for Cricket Club of India and Minesh Shah was declared ‘man of the match’ for his fantastic bowling spell.
