Mumbai Batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal scores massive 203 runs in finals of Varroc Cup

Yashasvi is in the news again ! This time for his double ton in the finals of Varroc Cup playing for Payyade SC against Poona Club. Opener batsman Jaiswal scored 203 off 126 balls. Though the scoresheet failed to capture the exact number of fours and sixes, as per Yashasvi, it was around 16 fours and 7 sixes. We are sure he too must have lost a count of the exact fours and sixes!

Courtesy Jaiswals knock, Payyade SC posted a mammoth target of 471/6 in allotted 45 overs. Other noteable performance was that of Aryan Bangar 90(57) , son of Indian cricket team batting coach – Sanjay Bangar. Poona club team must have been in awe of Jaiswals batting that it took a while for them to come out of this shock. Poona club were bowled out for 117 in 33.4 overs.

While talking to cricketgraph.com team, the mentor of  15 year Jaiswal, Mr. Jwala Singh said ” This was the fist double hundred in last two years..  And fist in limited over match so he was very happy.  Also in vijay merchant trophy for Mumbai he came close to hundreds two times. 98 against Madhya pradesh in very important quarter final and 92 against Maharashtra so he was very much hungry for any big knock and delivered at the right time”.
