Winning the toss and electing to field first, Mount Litera bundled out DAIS Aces for 141 in 18.3 overs. Riding on Shreepad Khedekar’s (4-23 in 3.3 overs) heroic bowling performance, Mount Litera wrecked havoc. Shwetal Sakaria and Neil Dhankani bowled well in tandem scalping two wickets apiece. The right arm medium pacer Dhankani particularly was exceptional with the ball as he bowled an economic four over spell giving away just 18 runs. For DAIS Aces, Kalp Parikh (26) and Siddharth Gopalkrishnan (27) were among the top performers.

First with the ball and then with the bat, Neil Dhankani was the standout performer. The right hand bat top scored with an unbeaten 61 off just 41 balls, consisting of six boundaries and two sixes. Coming in at no. 6, Neil looked in a fantastic touch and was the protagonist of Mount Litera’s win. Rabindra Jhunjhunwala was the pick of the bowlers for DAIS Aces accounting for 2-13 in four overs.

Neil Dhankani bagged the Man of the Match for his stellar performance with both, bat and ball. Dhankani expressed, “I enjoyed bowling today. My plan was simple. It was to bowl stump to stump. Early morning start helped the bowling and as the day progressed, the pitch became good to bat on. I was timing the ball well and  was determined to bat aggressively to up the run rate. Iam elated to have contributed to my team’s win”.
