Nikhil Dewan’s 55 & a wkt steers JP IBTech to a win in the league match of the Milan T20 Tournament

It was the exciting league encounter between JP IBTech and Indiabulls at Kamat Cricket Ground, Mumbai. Indiabulls won the toss & elected to bat first to make the most of the batting conditions and try making a big total on the board.

Batting first, Opener Shailendra scored a 41 at the top of the order but took 63 balls to make it. The rest of the batsmen from the other end were not able to fire with the 2nd highest scorer being their skipper Rahul who scored a 22. It was some amazing performance from the bowlers and especially their spinners which restricted them to a low total of just 112 /9in 20 overs. Left-arm spinner Priyesh Raimangiya was the pick of the bowlers for JB Tech as he scalped 3/9 in his 4 overs. It was a spell where he not only contained the batsman but also took full control of them by taking wickets at the right moments. Captain Nikhil Dewan & Abhishek tripathy also supported well taking a wicket each for their team.

Chasing 113 is a cakewalk for most of the sides & such was the case with JB Tech too as they finished the game in just 15.2 overs and won by 9 wkts. Skipper Nikhil who opened the innings scored run a ball unbeaten half century to steer his team to a comfortable victory. Nikhil scored 55* which included 8 fours and a six. Abhishek also played well before he was out scoring a quick 38.

JB Tech won the match comfortably by 9 wkts & their skipper Nikhil was adjudged ‘man of the match’ for his unbeaten half century & a wicket. Cricketgraph congratulates the whole team for their victory and wishes them to continue their good form for the coming matches of the tournament.
