OFA Ambernath Center wins the finals and lifts the prestigious title of U19 Naren Tamhane Tournament’19

OFA Ambernath Center opting to bat first at the SRT Ground Kandivali registered a total of 265/10 in 89 overs. Opener Dishan Rane (51) and Dasrath Chavan (62) at the middle order chipped in with crucial half centuries while Shashwat Jagtap also played a handy role hitting 48 runs down the order. From the bowlers, leg break spinner Parth Satvik with 4/47 and left arm spinner Aakash Sharma with 4/53 were the pick of the bowlers.

Bengal Center in reply lacked batsman who could score a big individual score, they were bundled out for 153 runs thanks to some really tight bowling by the OFA Ambernath Center bowlers. Off-spinner Dasrath Chavan with 3/7 was the pick of the bowlers while Prayag Kumar (3/32), Tushar Kadam (2/29) and Shashwat (2/36) also came in handy with the ball.

Tourament’19. This win is definately going to be a special one as this is the 1st time Ambernath Center has won the Naren Tamhane Tournament. Credit also goes to the coaches Amol Ghodke and Yashodhan Vaidya who have worked hard on the players in the Summer Camp Center.
