Opener Raj Patil scores a brilliant hundred to steer SPCA to a thrilling win in the Under-11 Masters Cup

Sponsor by Hindustan pencil LTD And Natraj pen and played at the Santosh Sports Cricket Academy ground in Mumbai, it was a match between two young promising teams namely SPCA, Kalyan and SVPT School, Thane where in SPCA won the toss and elected to bat first as they have a good batting line up to make a decent target.

Their decision to bat first was completely spot on as they notched up a very healthy score of 189 in 20 overs. Opener Raj Patil played a gem of a knock as he scored 106 off just 82balls to steer his team towards a big total. Raj who smashed 21fours let his bat do the talking and accelerated at the right time to help his team score 180+ in 20 overs. Right handed Raj played some genuinely good cricketing shots in his 82ball stay at the crease while Mavshir was the 2nd highest scorer with 33runs.

Chasing 190 in a T20 match is always a tough task and SVPT School must have felt the pressure of chasing as they were bundled out for just 87runs in 19.3 overs. Aryan Dutt with 4/19 in 4overs was simply excellent with the ball while Pawan Khatri also bowled well taking 3/27. SPCA once again proved their mettle as a strong team as they won the match by a big margin of 102runs.
