Sandesh kunder takes centrestage: smashes a lighting quick 54 off 27b and takes 3wkts vs Kotak Mahindra in the Dreamz T20 Tournament

The MB Union Cross Maidan witnessed yet another exciting match between JP Morgan and Kotak Mahindra of the Dreamz T20 Tournament. Kotak Mahindra won the toss & decided to bowl first & put JP boys under pressure by restricting them to a low total.

However, JP Morgan made good use of batting first as they managed to score a very decent score of 170/5 in 20overs. JP Morgan were struggling at one point on 80/3 in 14overs . But in came their all-rounder Sandesh Kunder who scored a brilliant 54 off mere 27balls to take his team to a very competitive total. Right-handed Sandesh smashed 3 fours & 4sixes at will and accelerated in the death overs which made this knock a very crucial knock for JP team. Opener Hoshiyar R also played a solid looking 45 off just 39balls followed by a quick 28 off just 14balls by Deepankar. Vikram chipped in with 2wkts while the rest of the bowlers also did a fairly good job.

Chasing 171 at more than 8runs per over, the pressure of chasing reached their heads as they were all-out for  just 133/10 in 19.4 overs. Once again it was Sandesh Kunder who took the centrestage as he picked up 3/36 in his 4overs with his off-spin. Kishor & Nikhil also bowled well chipping in with 2wkts each.

JP Morgan won the match by 33runs & Sandesh Kunder was declared ‘man of the match’ for his all-round contribution. Cricketgraph congratulates Sandesh & the whole team for their win & wishes them luck for their upcoming matches too.
