Saurav Nautiyal scores a mammoth 152 off just 79balls in the Sabhapur Premier League
Played at the Sabhapur Complex in a 40over game, it was once again in this southpaw from Delhi who came up with an impressive ton. The match was played on 16th October 2017 between Raj Cricket Academy and Delhi Warriors where in Raj Cricket Academy won the toss and elected to bat first.
Batting first, they did a fairly decent job as they managed to score a very competitive score of 291/9 in 40 overs. Saurav, Diwakar and Anil Sharma took 2wkts each while the rest of the bowlers also chipped in with a wicket each. Chasing 292runs in 240 balls is always difficult but their openers Anil Sharma and Diwakar gave an excellent start. At no.3 came Saurav who carried on the positive momentum left behind by the openers and took the onus of finishing the match on his shoulders as he went on to score a memorable and an entertaining 152* off mere 79balls. Left-handed Saurav Nautiyal started attacking the bowlers from the very beginning as he reached his 100 in just 51balls to take the game away from the opposition.
Eventually Delhi Warriors won the match by 5wkts in just 37 overs while Saurav Nautiyal’s 152(9fours, 6sixes) remained the highlight perfomance of the match.
