Shaw’s 76 & Salvi’s fiery 62 ensure a finals birth for North Mumbai Panthers in T20 Mumbai’19

Arcs Andheri batting first mustered a total of 166/6 in 20 overs which is quite an above average total to defend at Wankhede. Opener Akhil Herwadkar top scored with a flashy 69 off 47 balls (6 fours, 2 sixes) while Shubham Ranjane played the finishers role hitting a quickfire 51* off 34 balls (5 fours, 1 six) pushing the team towards a healthy total. From the bowlers, Prathamesh Dake was the pick of the lot taking 3/37 in 4 overs. Pravin Tambe and Shashikant Kadam chipped in with a wicket each while Rahul Sawant was also quite impressive conceding only 23 runs in 4 overs.

Chasing 167, opener Prithvi Shaw finally came to his colors hitting some brilliant shots while anchoring the chase en-route his impressive 76 off 48 balls (6 fours, 3 sixes). With some quick wickets in between, hard hitter Swapnil Salvi finally showcased his hitting abilities plonking bowlers for 5 maximums in his swashbuckling 62 off mere 38 balls.
