Right arm leg spinner Satyam has been growing leaps and bounds in cricket since the last few seasons. In fact he has been consistently taking wickets for every team which he has been playing and has turned out to be an asset. Also its good to see that a kid who comes from a humble background where his dad manages the ground goes on to progress so nicely in cricket. We are sure his entire family must be proud of him! Even Aman Manihar has been doing an equally great job with the ball as he is also amongst the top wicket takers.

Yash Jathar who took 7/101

Played at the Kandivali MCA between two talented teams namely Sunil Gavaskar XI and Rohit Sharma XI, Sunil Gavaskar XI won the toss and elected to bat first considering that the rains are over and the pitch may have something for the batsman. Batting first, Sunil Gavaskar XI did a decent job as they scored 263/10 in 96.3 overs. Dashrat Chavan and Abbas Karachiwala chipped in with half centuries while Ajit Yadav and Aman Manihar were the pick of the bowlers with 4/12 and 4/79 respectively. Rohit Sharma XI were in reply all out for 253runs where in talented Suryansh once again let his bat do the talking as he scored a confident looking 87. Yash Jathar leaked a few runs but overall bowled well taking 7/101.

Spinner Aman Manihar who took 8wkts in the match

In the 2nd innings, Rohit Sharma boys gave an excellent fightback as they restricted Gavaskar boys to just 101runs all out where in Aman was again the best bowler taking 4/17 while Anuj taking 3/28. Defending a target of just 112 runs is a marathon task but in came the spinner Satyam Chaudhary who yielded magic with the ball and also changed the script of the game as he took a stunning 7/35 in 22 overs to restrict the Rohit Sharma boys to just 89 all out. Satyam bowled really well in the right areas and has progressed every match as a cricketer. It was his bowling in the 2nd innings which single handedly led his team to a win. Satyam was also awarded the best bowler of the tournament along with man of the match award. Satyam definitely is in a zone where the batsman must worry about! Cricketgraph congratulates Satyam & the winning team while also wishes luck to all this boys right from Aman, Suryansh, Yash and Satyam for a great season ahead.
