Spinner Harshit Jain’s stellar form with the ball continues as he takes his 3rd 5wkt haul in the Kanga league ‘17
Played at the Bengal Club, Shivaji Park in Dadar, it was a match between United Friends SC and Yogi Cricket Club where in Yogi CC won the toss and elected to bowl first expecting the pitch to have some support for the bowlers.
Batting first, United Friends SC were all out for 118/10 in 39.5 overs where in Pratik Singh at lower order top scored with an unbeaten 29*. Right arm medium pacer Arjun Thakkar was the pick of the bowler taking 4/15 while he also got good support from Spinner Rahul Sawant who took 3wkts.
Even though, United Friends were all out for 118, they gave a good comeback with the ball as they restricted Yogi Cricket Club to just 92runs all out in 19 overs. The wrecker in chief was once again Harshit Jain who took 5/40 in 9 overs to trouble the opposition. Harshit Jain has been in excellent form in this Kanga and he has certainly taken everyone’s notice with his wily spin as his tally of wickets has reached 23 in 5innings which also includes 3 five wkt hauls and one 4wkt haul. United Friends batted for another 15 overs in the 2nd innings till the end of the game’s play where United Friends won the match on 1st innings.
