Talented Shivam Dubey scores an aggressive 103*vs Sind SC in the Kanga League 2017/18

Two powerful teams namely Karnataka SA & Sind Sports Club clashed for a crucial encounter at the Karantak Sporting Association ground in Mumbai where in Karnataka boys won the toss and elected to bat first as they have a very strong batting line up to trouble the opposition.

Batting first, Karnatak Association scored 227/6 in 40 overs before they declared their innings. Openers Rudra Dhandey(35 off 28) and Eknath Kerkar(28 off 36) gave a good start but it was their aggressive batsman Shivam Dubey at no.4 who scored one of the fastest hundreds of this year’s edition scoring 103* off just 75balls which included 7fours & 3sixes at a strike rate of 133.50. Shivam remained unbeaten till the end and counter attacked the bowlers nicely. From Sind SC, Aditya Dhumal was the pick of the bowlers taking 4/65 in his 12 overs.

In reply, Sind SC scored 101/5 in 40 overs before the end of the game’s play where the match was declared drawn. Opener Khushal Shah remained unbeaten on 49*(123balls) falling just one run short of a solid half century. It was a good match between two strong teams but it was Shivam Dubey’s hundred which remained the highlight perfomance of the match.
