In Thane city regular practice has been going on at Dadoji konddev Statdium. Corporate youths & many talented cricketers do not get a chance for showing their cricketing skills so now In the guidance of Thane District Palak Mantri with PWD Minister Shri Eknath Shinde will work towards the necessary change to produce International level players from thane district.
This tournament will complete its 8th successful year. This time a total 16teams will participate in this tournament and also some of the big ranji players will be participating in this tournament like 1) Vidyadhar Kamat 2) Prathmesh Dhoke 3) Sagar Mishra 4) Atul Singh 5) Rohan Raje 6) Nikhil Patil 7) Jr.Jay Bista 8) Tushar Deshpande 9) Vinayak Bhoir 10) Manish Rao among others.
The tournament’s grand opening will be on 1st may 2017 morning at 8’o clock by Thane District Palak Mantri alongwith PWD Minister Shri Eknath Shinde and a special apperance by Mayor Smt.Minakshi Shinde, Khasdar M.P Shri Rajan Vichare Khasdar Mp shri Dr.Shrikant shinde, MLA Shri Ravindra Phatak, Shivsend Thane District Pramukh shri Thane Muncipal Sabhagruha Minister Shri Naresh Mhaske , Thane Municipal Aaukt Shri Sanjiv Jaiswal.
This tournament is only for thane cricketers but in every team 2 players can play from the rest of the Mumbai.
