Finals are always nail-biting and so was the match between Prabhu jolly Cricketers & Khandala CC of the Kurla Bapat Tournament. Prabhu jolly won the toss & took the gamble of bowling first in order to restrict them to a low total.

The gamble of bowling first did go in their favor as Khandala CC managed to score only 134/8 in 20 overs. Opener Kashif Poryani batted well & tried to give a good start but the rest of the batsman couldn’t fire. Kashif scored a quick 41 off 38 at the top of the order followed by their no.3 batsman Arjun tendulkar scoring a 30 ball 23 where he smashed 2 sixes. Left-handed Arjun smashed 2 sixes & gave us a déjà vu of his father ‘Sachin Tendulkar” . Eventually he could not convert his 23 into a substantial score. Tejas Shetty and the lower order came in and chipped in with a crucial 20 ball 25* which helped their team reach a total of 134 which is at least respectable if not defendable. Left arm spinner Vijendra Yadav who had performed exceedingly well in the semis continued his good form and came up with bowling figures of 3/12 in 4 overs followed by 3/31 by Birendra Rawat.
