A High Octane Performance filled match on Wankhede as Parsee Gymkhana enter the Semis of Police Shield’21

Parse Gymkhana after opting to bat first at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai seemed to have thoroughly enjoyed batting on the Wankhede Wicket notching up 383/9 in 70 overs. Openers Vikrant Auti (38 runs) and Sachin Yadav (84 runs) provided a perfect opening start which was further capitalized well by the experienced Aditya Tare who scored 60 runs off 69 balls. Nikhil Patil Jr. who came at no.4 was the highest scorer scoring a memorable ton on Wankhede, a feeling which every Mumbai batsman wants to experience! Nikhil scored an impressive 114 off 108 balls which had 9 fours and 4 sixes. All-rounder Vidyadhar Kamath fell just one short of a fifer courtesy a dropped catch of Nikhil as he was the pick of the bowlers with 4/100 in 23 overs taking some crucial wickets of Aditya Tare, Parag Khanapurkar and Sachin Yadav.

Chasing 384, Shivaji Park Gymkhana were all out for 253 runs with in-form batsman Ninad Kadam scoring 154 of those runs. Ninad coming at no.3 scored 154 off 151 balls smashing 20 fours and 2 sixes. Ninad looked excellent with the bat however he laced support from the other end as Parsee Gymkhana went on to win the match by 130 runs.
