Akshat Jain scores an impressive 89 to help Jhunjhunwala win semis in the Inter College Tournament’19

Jhunjhunwala College batting first at the Worli Sports Club ground managed to post a decent total of 217/10 in 45 overs. Akshat Jhunjhunwala top scored for his team hitting an impressive 89 off 104 balls laced with 10 fours and a six. Apart from him, Sahil Jadhav scored a handy 42 runs while the rest of the batsman found it difficult to get going. It was an anchoring knock which pushed his team towards a respectable total.

Thakur College in reply were crushed for mere 41 runs all out thanks to some brilliant bowling by Saud Mansoori who took 4 wkts for just 10 runs. Ved Kharade with 3/16 was the 2^nd best of the lot as Jhunjhunwala College won by a big margin of 176 runs.
