All-Rounder Sagar Bhuta steers KSG Masters to Victory in KSG 40-40 Cup

On November 20, KSG Masters locked horns against KSG Panthers at Payyade Ground in Mumbai during the KSG (Kapol Sports Group) 40-40 Cup.

Batting first, KSG Masters piled up a respectable total of 242 in 40 overs. Krish Mehta (42 off 47) and Sagar Bhuta (45 off 47) made valuable contributions with the bat. On the other hand, KSG Panthers’ Shamik Valia wreaked havoc with the ball as he accounted for 30/4 in six overs, including one maiden.

In response, KSG Panthers were bowled out for 177 in 34.4 overs, losing the game by 65  runs. Shamik Valia smashed an imperious 51 not out off 53 balls, including four boundaries. Valia was the lone warrior in the fight for his team. On the other hand, KSG Masters had a good outing with the ball. Sagar Bhuta and Aakash Mehta were the most successful bowlers, with two scalps apiece.

KSG Masters’ Sagar Bhuta bagged the player of the match award for his brilliant all-round performance.
