Angkrish Raghuvanshi (58) & Musheer Khan (3 wkts) help Mumbai defeat Tripura in U19 Vinoo Mankad Trophy’21
Mumbai after being put to bat first were not able to post a threatening total on board as most of the batters found it difficult to convert their starts. Opener Angkrish Raghuvanshi was the highest scorer for Mumbai hitting 58 runs off 71 balls which included 8 boundaries. Angrkish was supported ably by middle order while Suryansh Shedge at no.5 was the 2nd highest scorer with a quick 28 ball 40 to his name which included 3 boundaries and 2 sixes. Sahil Sultan from Tripura was the pick of the lot with 3/24 in 7 overs.
Chasing 210 in 50 overs, the pressure was certainly more on the defending team Mumbai, however the bowlers did an excellent job of restricting Tripura to 142 all out in 28.4 overs. All-rounder Musheer Khan with his left arm spin was the pick of the lot taking 3/15 in 7 overs while all-rounder Suryansh who scored valuable 40 runs chipped in with the ball too taking 2/38 in 7 overs.
