Ayush Vartak’s 98 steers Golden Star Cricket Academy to a win in U19 Straight Drive Viraj Cup’22

Played at NL Complex Ground in Mumbai, Golden Star opting to bat first posted a total of 171 in 20 overs. Openers Ayush Vartak and Smith gave a flying start of 91 runs while  Ayush Vartak continued his good start into a match winning knock smashing 98 runs off 52 balls smashing 15 fours and 3 sixes. Ayush missed out on a well deserved hundred but helped his team reach a commendable total of 171 in 20 overs.

Sanjeevani Cricket Academy in reply were all out for 106 runs with Ayush Vartak being the pick of the lot with the ball too taking 3/23 in 3 overs. Golden Star won the match by 65 runs while Ayush Vartak was declared ‘man of the match’
