DTDC beat JP Morgan by 181 runs in Times Shield’22

On May 11, DTDC and JP Morgan clashed against each other during the Times Shield match. JP Morgan won the toss and elected to field at the Cross Maidan in Mumbai.

Invited to bat first, DTDC posted 4-289 in 40 overs, riding on four half-centuries from Sidharth Ghule, Anish Chaudhary, Satyalaksha Jain and Omkar Ghule. Siddharth Ghule top scored with 75 runs off 103 balls, followed by Omkar Ghule’s 66 off 31, Chaudhary’s 51 off 34 and Jain’s 50 off 52. On the other hand, JP Morgan’s Abhishek Rajadhyaksha was the pick of the bowlers as he scalped 2-75 in eight overs.

In reply, JP Morgan were bowled out for a paltry 108 in 28 overs. DTDC’s bowlers derailed JP Morgan’s run chase with ease. Devendranath Parida was the wrecker-in-chief as he claimed 5-37 in eight overs, including one maiden. Parida won the golden ball for his valiant bowling effort. Omkar Ghule also chipped in with 3-16 in six overs, including one maiden. On the other hand, JP Morgan’s Rajadhyaksha was the lone warrior in the fight as he top scored with 25 runs off 19 balls.
