Fifers for Pratham Trimbakar and Arnav Charpe in the U14 CPCC Tournament’19
Apollo CC after being put to bat first at Central Maidan, Thane posted a total of 175/10 in 61.5 overs. Soham Dawane who has been impressive with the bat in this tournament continued to impress scoring a brilliant 74 off 151 balls (12 boundaries) scoring almost 40% of his team’s total single handedly.
Sporting Committee Thane in reply were all out for 111 runs in 67.5 overs thanks to a game changing spell by their spinner Pratham Trimbakkar who came up with envious bowling figures of 5/25 in 15.5 overs alongwith 7 maidens.
Apollo CC batted for 34 overs in 2nd innings getting all out for 99 runs & this time it was medium pacer Arnav Charpe taking an impressive 5/18 in 8 overs. Sporting Committee Thane batted for 5 overs before the game ended with them winning on the basis of 1st innings lead. There were some impressive performances from both the sides where in Soham, Pratham and Arnav certainly stamped their presence with their individual performances.
