Of all the pitches on shivaji park, SPG is the only pitch with a 10-15 yard circle enveloped with green grass. This pitch has a good true bounce on either side. Outfield is best amongst all other pitches in shivaji park ground. It has a huge pavilion with enough plastic chairs to accommodate players from both teams. Pavilion comes with neat restrooms. Preference for booking the ground is given to existing shivaji park gymkhana members. On sundays ground is mostly taken up by MCA (Mumbai cricket Association) matches.
