Half centuries by Tanmay and Aryan steer Rising Starts Foundation to a win in U16 Fairplay Tournament’21

Played between Rising Star Sports Foundation and Atharva XI at RK Ground in Mumbai, Rising Stars after being put to bat first performed well posting a good total of 198/4 in 20 overs.  Both the openers Aryan Pendurkar and Tanmay Malondkar gave a fantastic start stitching 111 runs for the 1^st wicket. Aryan scored an impressive 51 off 36 balls (4 fours) while Tanmay Malondkar top scored for his team with a gritty 58 off 50 balls.

Atharva XI in reply were all out for 102 runs courtesy tight bowling by Rising Star bowlers. Most of the bowlers came up with a wicket or two while Chirag Modak with 3/19 in 4 overs was the pick of the lot.

Result: Rising Star Sports Foundation won by 96 runs
