Harsh Aghav’s brilliant 170 goes in vain in ABCA U14 Champions Trophy’21

Played at Chereshwar Cricket Ground in Mumbai, Oval XI Churchgate after being put to bat first posted a good total on board scoring 235/4 in 40 overs. Despite a poor start to the innings with scoreboard reading 33/3, Harsh Aghav coming at no.3 single handedly played a fascinating knock of 170* in 135 balls. The youngster took on the bowlers with ease smashing 23 fours and a six pushing his team towards a respectable total. In, fact Harsh scored almost 70% of his team’s total alone in the quota of 40 overs.

Chasing 236, New Hind Cricket Club lost their openers early but it was their captain Abhinab Saha who played the anchors role with a brilliant knock of 93*runs in 96 balls (15 fours),  Abhinab was well supported by Dharsh (46 runs) and Shourya Rai (24 runs) as New Hind crossed the victory line in 38 overs winning the match by 5 wickets.
