Himmat Singh and Mayank Dagar shine but North Zone loses against South Zone in Vinoo Mankad Trophy

Superb efforts by captain Himmat Singh 66 runs 84b,8 fours and 2 sixes and Mayank Dagar 5/23  went in vain for North Zone as they lost by one wicket against South Zone in the Vinoo Mankad Zonal Cricket tournament, played at Cuttack.

North Captain Himmat Singh won the toss and elected to bat first. At one stage North zone were 99 for 4 but Himmat Singh and Shubham added 68 runs for the 5^th wickets but last 5 wicket were lost in just 31 runs. In reply at one stage South Zone were152 for 8 in 40 overs and 184 for 9. North Zone lost the match with just 2 balls to spare.
